Souvik Das
Souvik is a student of class 9 in a South Kolkata School. He recently lost his father with a sudden illness and his family was finding it extremely difficult to support Souvik with his educational expenses.

Khatija Khatoon
Khatija Khatoon has recently passed her Secondary examination from a South Kolkata school securing 60% marks with Grade- A (Very Good). Khatija has now taken admission for her Higher Secondary in the Arts section of the same school. Khatija who lost both her parents at an early age is brought up by her cousin brother who is an electrician. She is a bright student and wants to pursue computer software profession.

Piu, who comes from a farmer’s family and a first generation learner, has recently passed Higher Secondary examination from Tapsia Vidyasagar Sikshayatan (HS), Village Tapsia, Dist. Jhargram securing 86.8% marks with Grade A+ (Excellent). Piu has now taken admission with History Honours in Gope College, West Midnapore, one of the leading colleges of the state. Piu wants to join Indian Army in the future.
